From the French word boucler, which means “to curl,” bouclé is a heavy fabric made from looped yarn, often referred to as “nubby” in texture. It’s somewhere between the soft fluffiness of sherpa fleece and the natural texture of marled linen.

This fabric has many uses including sofas, throws, beds, trousers, skirts, dresses, home furnishings such as curtains, cushions and other upholstery and crafts uses.

Description

This is not a stretchy type material, it is a commercial trade upholstery grade fabric.

Features:

  • Fabric Thickness: 1.45 mm Approximately
  • Fabric Width: 140 cm / 55” Approximately
    Approx 350 GSM.
  • 100% polyester
  • Hard wearing strong backing to the fabric.

All multiple purchases i.e. Full Meters will be supplied in one Continuous Length unless we are requested otherwise.
Purchases made at different times can vary slightly in colour and also the backing, please purchase a sample to be sure of colour etc.
This Fabric does not have a FR (Fire Retardant) backing, FR Fabric is available in full rolls only which may vary from around 40-60m in length. Please fill in the enquiry form for FR fabric so that we can check stock availability and also pricing.

Free Delivery: Prices include free economy 3-4 working day delivery to UK Mainland only. Alternative delivery addresses outside mainland UK may incur a delivery charge based on location.

RETURNS

In the unlikely event that you are not satisfied with your order please get in touch and we will be happy to help as best as we can.

Returns policy: Returns are accepted within 14 days of the order delivery date, any items which have been accepted for a return must be returned in an unused saleable condition - ie fabrics must not be cut or damaged in anyway for return.

Buyer pays for return postage.
